Job summary

Gemburg Inc. is seeking an Infra Capacity Planning Service Owner to drive end-to-end infrastructure capacity across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

This fully remote role partners with engineering, cloud, architecture, and business teams to forecast demand, manage dashboards, and govern capacity programs. You will own the service lifecycle, define vision and KPIs, run capacity reviews, deliver actionable insights, and mature the capability from reactive to proactive planning with clear

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, CS, Engineering, or Business.
• 7+ years in Infrastructure Service Management, Capacity Management, Infra Ops, or Technical PM/TPM.
• Strong experience in enterprise capacity planning and forecasting.
• Understanding of compute, virtualization, storage, network, DC, cloud, and hybrid infra.
• Ability to analyze utilization, demand, growth trends, and constraints.
• Strong governance, roadmap, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills; able to influence in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure capacity management strategy, governance, and roadmap.
• Build frameworks for utilization, demand, forecasting, risks, and future needs.
• Analyze trends to identify constraints and optimization opportunities.
• Support planning for new apps, cloud adoption, DC programs, AI/ML workloads.
• Run capacity reviews and provide insights for leadership decisions.
• Own the full lifecycle of the Capacity Management service and define vision.
• Lead service reviews and maintain a prioritized roadmap.
• Mature the service from reactive to proactive/predictive.
• Deliver clear reporting on utilization, demand, headroom, and risks.
• Track KPIs and support executive reporting and governance.
