Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in infrastructure engineering, capacity planning, infrastructure analytics, or a related area.
• Experience with cloud/private cloud environments.
• Knowledge of compute platforms, virtualization, storage, and networking.
• Experience with forecasting, modeling, utilization analysis, or infrastructure planning.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data.
• Experience developing or automating tools and processes.
• Comfortable working with multiple technical teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate capacity planning and forecasting tools.
• Create models to predict long-range infrastructure growth.
• Analyze compute and storage utilization.
• Support private cloud VM and container capacity management.
• Forecast data center requirements including power, racks, and cooling.
• Validate infrastructure designs, procurement requirements, and bills of materials.
• Partner with compute, storage, and network engineers.
• Support infrastructure quotes, funding requests, and procurement activities.
• Maintain infrastructure capacity planning frameworks and inventory.
• Provide recommendations around infrastructure scaling and future growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support finance teams with future technology demand and budget planning.
• Document and communicate process improvements.
• Work across engineering teams to resolve capacity-related blockers.
