Job summary

Epicor is seeking an Infrastructure Support Specialist to deliver remote technical support for customer hardware, peripherals, and network environments in automotive and retail operations. You will diagnose issues, support upgrades, and ensure seamless operations across customer locations and hosted datacenters.

The role requires 3+ years in customer-facing technical or hardware support, strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

3+ years in a customer-facing technical or hardware support role.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
Experience supporting hardware environments: servers, desktops, printers, scanners, RF devices, POS systems.
Working knowledge of Windows OS, Linux fundamentals, and basic client/server tech.
Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, routing, firewalls, and remote access.
Excellent communication and customer service, with ability to explain to non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across time zones.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality remote technical support with focus on customer service and timely resolution.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and coordinate repairs for hardware, peripherals, and network connectivity.
Support and configure servers, PCs, scanners, printers, RF devices, POS equipment, and related peripherals.
Perform software troubleshooting and repair activities for supported hardware environments.
Document issues, resolutions, escalation details, and service actions in support systems.
Escalate unresolved problems within SLA and align with workflow expectations.
Identify opportunities for additional support services or hardware-related consulting.
