Job summary

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation seeks a full-time Information Specialist (IS) Coordinator for the National Paralysis Resource Center (NPRC). This role delivers information and referral services to people with paralysis, their families, and caregivers, using approved templates, knowledge base, and CRM to ensure timely, accurate responses.

The position is primarily remote with standard hours 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET; occasional on-site meetings at Short Hills, NJ may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy and ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask and prioritize cases.
• Open to using AI-enabled tools to support research and drafting.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, chat, and mail; document data in CRM.
• Provide materials and guidance; compile information packets using approved templates.
• Post and respond on social platforms; coordinate with staff for timely replies and accessibility.
• Plan and publish posts using approved scheduling tools; follow templates for consistency.
• Draft responses with AI-assisted tools under manager approval; ensure quality checks.
• Write case summaries showing impact of IS assistance; collaborate across departments.
