Job summary

ESR Motor Systems, LLC seeks an experienced Business Development Representative to drive new business nationwide by selling industrial motors, VFDs, gearboxes, and power transmission products to reseller customers.

This is a true new-business role with commission based on gross profit; you will prospect, build relationships, and convert opportunities into long-term ESR customers, with occasional travel and remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial sales in motors or power transmission.
• Proven outbound prospecting via phone and email.
• Ability to build rapport with industrial customers.
• Experience using CRM/ERP and sales tools.
• Comfort with remote or field sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new reseller customers through outbound calls, email, video meetings, and other direct outreach.
• Build relationships and understand customers' business and purchasing needs.
• Convert prospects into long-term ESR customers.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations when appropriate.
• Maintain ownership of developed accounts and grow relationships.
• Collaborate with inside sales for order processing and support.
• Maintain accurate prospect and opportunity information in ESR's CRM/ERP.
• Occasionally travel to meet prospects and customers in person.
• Aim for approximately $1 million in new sales within 18 months.
