Placements24 seeks a Remote Industrial Engineer to optimize global supply chain networks and warehouse processes from a home office. You will build models, run simulations, and drive data-driven decisions to cut costs and boost efficiency in a fully remote role.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with tools like Llamasoft/CPLEX, SQL, Python, and Tableau/Power BI. Excellent communication and self-discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in industrial engineering with focus on supply chain optimization.
• Proven ability to develop and implement supply chain models and optimizations.
• Strong data analysis skills with Excel/SQL/Python/R and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and map current supply chain processes to identify improvements in efficiency, cost, and speed.
• Develop and implement optimization models for inventory, transportation, and warehouse operations.
• Design and evaluate new network configurations to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Use simulation and data analysis to forecast demand, assess risk, and allocate resources.
• Create SOPs and KPIs; present findings to management via virtual presentations.
