Job summary

OCCU | Oregon Community Credit Union seeks an Indirect Auto Loan Processor to support our Indirect Lending team. This remote role requires residence in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho and will involve weekend/evening hours.

You will review packets, ensure completeness, and support strong member service while maintaining compliance. Responsibilities include logging, processing packets, auditing files, and verifying underwriting conditions.

Qualifications

• At least one year of consumer lending or loan processing experience.
• Ability to verify loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify inconsistencies and potential fraud in loan files.
• Review underwriting conditions and clear them when appropriate.
• Strong data-entry and typing accuracy.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and financial systems.
• Detail-oriented with high-quality work.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Independent worker who also collaborates with a team.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving.
• Professional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, track, and process indirect loan packets through the appropriate queues in the indirect lending software platform.
• Review lending documents and contracts for accuracy, validity, and completeness, including contracts, purchase orders, title applications, bills of sale, insurance documentation, credit reports, verification applications, warranties, GAP documentation, dealer products, and vehicle valuation documents.
• Audit incoming loan files for quality, accuracy, completeness, and potential fraud indicators.
• Verify that underwriting conditions have been satisfied and clear conditions when appropriate.
• Confirm that each loan file meets applicable legal and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate departmental spreadsheets and tracking records.
• Stay current with operational procedures and complete required training.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with vendors, members, employees, and other business partners.
