Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years in cybersecurity with incident response or digital forensics focus.
• Strong understanding of networks, OS (Windows/Linux), and common attack vectors.
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, and forensic analysis tools; log data analysis.
• Certs like CompTIA Security+, CEH, GCIH, GCFA are a plus.
• Willingness to be on-call outside normal hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs to detect potential incidents.
• Investigate incidents including malware analysis and threat hunting.
• Contain, eradicate, and recover from breaches; update playbooks.
• Document incident details, actions, and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Communications during response.
• Stay updated on new threats and improve tools and processes.
