Job summary

EMS|MC is seeking a Customer Service Professional-Inbound to join their remote team. You will answer calls, determine caller needs, and document outcomes in Rescue Net Billing while upholding HIPAA and compliance standards.

The role emphasizes patient reimbursement knowledge, accurate data entry, and professional communication. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 1:30pm–10:00pm ET, with remote setup and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and patient reimbursement/Billing, and HIPAA.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls quickly and in a pleasant, professional manner.
• Identify caller needs and determine next actions (clarify charges, collect payments, file insurance, resolve complaints).
• Document each call and outcome in Rescue Net Billing clearly for future reference.
• Escalate to a senior advisor or supervisor when needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct at all times.
