YO AI Labs seeks an experienced In-House Counsel to support technology transactions on a part-time contractor basis. You will draft, review, negotiate, and redline MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and related tech contracts with a focus on practical business risk and precise feedback for AI-driven contract analysis.

No prior AI experience is required—your legal expertise and transactional judgment in the technology sector matter most as you collaborate with product, legal, and research teams to refine datasets

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of in-house legal experience focusing on technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating and redlining MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and other tech agreements.
• Strong understanding of technology contracting, risk allocation, and commercial negotiation strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback.
• Ability to evaluate contractual language objectively and consistently.
• Interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises involving technology transactions.
• Draft, review, analyze, and revise commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and related technology contracts.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses to contract scenarios for legal accuracy and risk.
• Provide actionable feedback to improve AI-generated contract analysis and redlining outputs.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, rubrics, and grading criteria for contract tasks.
• Identify contractual risks, ambiguities, and negotiation opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, legal, and research teams to refine datasets and guidelines for AI-driven contract review.
• Share practical insights from in-house negotiations and risk allocation.
