Job summary

Acceleration Partners is seeking a full-time, remote Legal Counsel to serve as an in-house legal resource. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client and vendor contracts, while occasionally supporting compliance, data privacy, HR legal advisory, and basic corporate governance across global entities.

The position requires a J.D. and active bar membership (or retired in good standing) with 8+ years of contract law experience, plus preferable in-house or agency experience and

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership (or retired in good standing) with 8+ years of legal experience, specifically with meaningful depth in contract law.
• Prior in-house or agency/services industry experience and familiarity with data protection/privacy (e.g., GDPR) are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end client contract process (drafting, redlining, and negotiating).
• Review supplier and vendor agreements for compliance and data privacy standards.
• Handle low-level disputes, legal inquiries, and draft legal correspondence.
• Partner with the People team to advise on employment-related legal questions.
• Support basic corporate governance and maintain accurate contract records.
