Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to university stakeholders, focusing on contracts, Title IX and ADA, privacy, IP, and regulatory compliance. The role is fully remote with very limited travel (<5%). The attorney will draft, review, and negotiate agreements, and provide guidance across data privacy, IT security, and marketing compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a JD, bar admission, and 2+ years of practice, preferably with exposure to higher education. Strong drafting, research, and communication skills are essential for success in this in-house position.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
• Bar admission and good standing in at least one state.
• Minimum two years of legal practice experience.
• Experience in higher education is a plus but not required.
• Strong research, writing and regulatory analysis skills.
• Willingness to handle contracts, IP, privacy, and compliance matters.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate vendor and technology contracts.
• Review student communications for regulatory compliance.
• Provide legal advice on ethics and compliance.
• Assist with international compliance for international students.
• Support IP matters as needed.
• Conduct legal research and develop regulatory resources.
• Collaborate with university stakeholders across departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
