Job summary

Ensono is seeking an Expert Mainframe Systems Programmer for IMS to provide premium support to mainframe IMS environments in the United States. The role reports to the Senior Manager – Mainframe Systems Programming and requires deep IMS expertise.

Responsibilities include 24/7 support, OEM software installation, and guiding migrations with emphasis on best practices and ITSM processes. This position offers the stability of a fulltime, on-site role with a broad scope across time zones.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
12+ years of IMS administration and systems programming experience.
Experience with IMS and related OEM software tools a plus.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customer service requests for IMS and OEM software in a timely manner.
Provide primary support for IMS-related issues and OEM software products.
Provide 24 x 7 x 365 support across multiple time zones.
Follow procedures for installing OEM software efficiently and per Ensono standards.
Support customer migrations related to IMS and OEM products.
Assist migration of newly acquired customers to address technical hurdles.
Coordinate with Disaster Recovery Services for DR plans.
Adhere to schedules to enable timely implementations.
Follow ITSM change control procedures.
