Job summary

Akumin Inc. is seeking an Implementation Manager to oversee mobile imaging deployments (MRI, CT, PET/CT, LINAC) across healthcare sites.

You will plan, coordinate, and execute full deployment lifecycles, driving projects from pre-planning through launch while balancing timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Regulatory teams and external vendors, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–5 years of project management experience in facility operations, industrial deployments, or construction management.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Lean, Stage-Gate).
• Experience coordinating site readiness, equipment installations, and operational startups.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in dynamic environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., monday.com).
• Reading site plans, mechanical layouts, and operational checklists.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobile imaging deployment projects from site assessment through full operational startup.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Regulatory) and external vendors.
• Track project budgets, timelines, milestones, and deliverables with regular reporting to leadership.
• Apply stage-gate approvals, scope control, and change management processes.
