Job summary

IPA is seeking an Implementation Engineer to lead on-site implementations nationwide, from unboxing and installing equipment to training clients for long-term success.

You will travel to hospitals nationwide, troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues in real time, and partner with customers and internal teams to ensure a seamless go-live. The role offers broad exposure to hardware, software, electrical, mechanical, and client-facing activities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• A problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex and simple issues alike with enthusiasm.
• A service-oriented mindset, comfortable working with everyone from entry-level staff to C-level stakeholders.
• Ability to travel at least 80% of the time and work independently from a home office.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 100 lbs. and perform regular pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Travel onsite to perform installations — uncrating, transporting, positioning equipment, connecting power/data, programming, networking, and powering up.
• Serve as the face of IPA onsite, introducing end users to new equipment and processes and building confidence from day one.
• Train clients on software, procedures, and basic troubleshooting for post-go-live success.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, firmware, and networking issues during implementations and on high-priority service calls.
• Maintain proficiency with wiring, soldering, hand tools, and test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes).
• Support system administration tasks, including basic Linux knowledge and Clearview installation/configuration.
