Job summary

Fortress in Orlando, FL is seeking an Implementation Engineer to support end users during software deployment and configuration. You will ensure the Fortress Platform runs smoothly, coordinate with architects and customers, and test releases prior to rollout.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, excellent communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's in IT/CS is required, with 1–3 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in a customer-focused tech role.
• Professional written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple milestones and learn quickly.
• Experience with help desk software and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as initial contact for application and system concerns from clients or staff.
• Develop training materials and advise on best practices for implementation.
• Lead testing and evaluation of new features before deployment.
• Guide the implementation process using technical expertise.
• Diagnose and resolve complex software and system issues quickly.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to users and management.
• Manage escalations and coordinate resources to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
