Job summary

Corporate Immigration Attorneys seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney to prepare and file employment-based petitions, focusing on EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs. The position is remote, but candidates must reside in Illinois.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited US law school.
• US state bar admission in good standing.
• Some experience with EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters.
• Prepare immigrant/non-immigrant petitions with in-depth knowledge of EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs.
• Manage projects and deadlines, and prepare/revise documents.
• Explain legal terminology to clients clearly and concisely.
• Research statutes and judicial decisions on complex issues.
• Stay updated on immigration law changes and regulations.
• Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
• Provide training on immigration topics to clients and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support client projects.
• Communicate with clients and foreign nationals about procedural and case strategy details.
• Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant status.
• Prepare petitions for DOL and USCIS submissions.
• Supervise paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation.
