Job summary

GovCIO is hiring an Information Technology Specialist/Multimedia Developer to support the development and modernization of interactive U.S. Navy training products.

This full-time role may be remote with a location in Pensacola, FL, and involves multimedia authoring, web development, and LMS integration. You will transform approved instructional designs into engaging IMI, develop Level 2+ training solutions, and ensure SCORM compatibility while coordinating with instructional designers and QA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or commensurate experience.
• Experience developing interactive multimedia or web-based training products.
• Experience with interactive authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or similar.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and web development technologies.
• Experience with SCORM packaging, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and online course deployment.
• Ability to translate storyboards into functional multimedia products.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Transform approved instructional designs, scripts, and storyboards into Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI).
• Develop IMI Level 2+ interactive training solutions.
• Create native HTML5 content to support interactive interactions.
• Collaborate with Technical Lead on complex multimedia and web-based training.
• Integrate training products with Government Learning Management Systems.
• Package and validate courseware per SCORM requirements.
• Prepare training products for Government Content Acceptance Testing (GCAT).
• Troubleshoot SCORM, LMS, browser, and integration issues.
• Ensure consistent function across environments and meet production schedules.
