Job summary

enGen seeks an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems across the healthcare environment. You will support image viewing, interpretation, data exchange, and interfaces with EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition.

You will participate in project management, vendor relationships, and policy development for image management, including DICOM and HL7 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration and PACS/RIS/EMR.
• Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data security.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal environment for viewing and interpretation of medical images.
• Monitor interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition systems.
• Verify data integrity and optimize image workflows.
• Develop and enforce imaging policies compliant with regulations.
• Participate in full system development lifecycle and project documentation.
• Provide hardware/software upgrades and technical support.
