Job summary

enGen seeks an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure the optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems within the healthcare network. This role supports the clinical environment, ensuring seamless image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange.

You will manage interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS and voice recognition; participate in project management, vendor relations, policy development, and QA to meet regulatory standards (DICOM, HL7).

Qualifications

• Experience in medical imaging systems administration or PACS in healthcare.
• Familiarity with DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Proficient in viewing, interpreting medical images and data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal environment for viewing/interpretation of medical images.
• Monitor interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition systems.
• Verify data integrity and optimize image/workflow processes.
• Develop image management policies aligned with regulatory standards and familiarize with HIPAA and imaging standards.
• Participate in full system development lifecycle and support imaging modality capability assessments.
