Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and compliance of medical imaging systems, interfaces with EMR/RIS/PACS, and support clinical workflows.

You will collaborate on projects, manage interfaces, verify data integrity, and ensure adherence to DICOM/HL7 standards while coordinating with vendors and healthcare teams.

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field is required, with experience in healthcare imaging preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical imaging systems administration or PACS administration preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field required.
• Knowledge of DICOM/HL7 standards and healthcare imaging workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal environment for viewing and interpretation of medical images.
• Monitor interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verify data integrity and optimize image/workflow processes.
• Develop imaging policies compliant with federal regulations and DICOM/HL7 standards.
• Assess imaging modality capabilities to support clinical needs and technology advances.
• Participate in full system development lifecycle and maintain project documents.
• Communicate downtime and upgrades to stakeholders with minimal disruption.
• Assist with vendor management for imaging applications and systems.
• Ensure QA/testing, documentation, and UAT outcomes.
