Job summary

Highmark Health seeks an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems and interfaces across the healthcare network.

Role involves project management, vendor collaboration, and ongoing improvement of imaging workflows while supporting clinical environments, image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange. Remote-based position with responsibilities spanning SDLC activities and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems or related field (preferred).
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or similar role within a healthcare environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma, Health Insurance or Healthcare Industry familiarity

Responsibilities

• Ensures optimal environment for viewing/interpretation of medical images.
• Monitors interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verifies data integrity and optimizes image/workflow processes.
• Develops and maintains imaging-related policies in compliance with regulations and standards (DICOM, HL7).
• Supports project lifecycle documents and participates in full SDLC activities.
• Assists with vendor management and adoption of imaging applications.
• Retrieves data for KPIs or audits and provides tech support for projects/production.
