Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems across the healthcare environment. The role supports clinical workflows, interfaces with EMR/RIS/PACS, and promotes secure data exchange.

You will participate in project management, vendor relations, and system enhancements, applying knowledge of DICOM/HL7 standards, network settings, and system upgrades to sustain high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems or related field.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration or PACS administration preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma and healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal viewing and interpretation environment for medical images.
• Monitor interfaces with EMR, RIS, PACS and Voice Recognition systems.
• Ensure data integrity and optimize image/workflow processes.
• Develop imaging policies compliant with federal regulations and DICOM/HL7 standards.
• Support project lifecycle documents and vendor relations.
