Highmark Health is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and compliance of medical imaging systems and interfaces across the healthcare environment. You will participate in project management, vendor relations, and workflow optimization to support clinical operations and data exchange.

The role requires collaboration with IT, clinical teams, and vendors to maintain imaging standards and enable seamless viewing, interpretation and reporting of images.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Experience with PACS, RIS, EMR; medical imaging systems preferred.
• Familiarity with DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Ensure optimal environment for viewing and interpretation of medical images.
• Monitor and manage interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Ensure data integrity and optimize image/workflow processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain imaging policies compliant with federal regulations and standards (DICOM, HL7).
• Support imaging modality capabilities to meet clinical needs and technology advances.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality solutions.
• Create and maintain project lifecycle documents (vision, specs, test plans, reports).
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines; drive projects to closure.
