Qualifications

• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Strong understanding of DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Familiarity with network configurations, transmission protocols, and server management.
• Experience with hardware and software implementation, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Ability to retrieve and analyze data for performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Ensures an optimal environment for viewing and interpretation of medical images and monitors interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Participates in the full system development lifecycle and maintains project lifecycle documents.
• Communicates downtime, upgrades, and workflow changes to stakeholders with minimal disruption.
• Supports vendor management for imaging applications and systems; learns new skills as needed.
• Ensures QA and compliance through testing plans, scenarios, and documentation.
