Qualifications

• High School GED or Diploma
• 1 year in a centralized scheduling call center or 2 years in healthcare
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive patient scheduling in Cerner & GECB, including history, device screening, instructions, demographics, insurance and authorization
• Coordinate imaging scheduling and prior imaging for comparison
• Educate patients on medications, labs, prep and exam protocols
• Screen and collect medical history details and enter into the EMR
• Collaborate with imaging staff and radiologists to ensure smooth operations
• Demonstrate empathy, professionalism and patient-centered communication
