Qualifications

• RHIT or RHIA or CCS Certification.
• Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist.
• Bachelor Degree in healthcare or Associate's with 5+ years of healthcare coding experience.
• Clinical expertise gained through prior work with clinical documentation teams.
• Strong PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical documentation team to review inpatient accounts.
• Assess DRG, PDx, secondary Dx, PCS, POA and other documentation components affecting quality metrics.
• Ensure coding practices comply with coding guidelines and regulations.
