Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks a full-time Illinois Licensed Inpatient Coder to assign diagnostic and procedure codes for inpatient accounts while working remotely. The role emphasizes accuracy, guideline compliance, and collaboration with clinical documentation teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• CCS, CIC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT certification(s).
• State of Work Location: Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate diagnostic and procedure codes based on clinical documentation and coding guidelines.
• Coordinate with clinical documentation teams to validate coding accuracy for Medicare Severity Diagnosis Related Group (MSDRG) and patient safety indicators.
• Monitor work queues to ensure timely charging of all records and generate coding queries as needed.
