Job summary

1Kosmos Inc. is seeking a hands-on research and evaluation consultant to move identity-verification concepts into working prototypes. You will identify providers, test APIs, and document market, regulatory constraints, and practical integration steps for our Identity Verification product team.

The role is remote with reliable overlap to US Eastern time, and focuses on evaluating technical feasibility, data sources, and regulatory considerations across international markets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience consuming third-party APIs and SDKs.
• Comfort with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST/JSON, OAuth or API-key authentication.
• Strong written communication and ability to translate questions into evaluation criteria.
• Experience presenting findings to product and security/compliance.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify identity-verification and related providers across markets.
• Test APIs and build lightweight prototypes to demonstrate integration effort.
• Evaluate API docs, authentication, latency, error handling, and sandbox differences.
• Document implementation details for reproduceability by Product/Engineering.
• Flag privacy, regulatory, and operational constraints early.
