Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support Identity Security initiatives across the Central U.S. region, focusing on Workforce Identity & Access Management and Identity Governance across enterprise environments.

You will partner with sales teams to demonstrate solutions, design practical identity architectures, and help customers understand authentication and access concepts. This role blends curious technologists with hands-on experimentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with IAM/IGA or related security technologies.
• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, federation, directory services, and identity lifecycle.
• Exposure to platforms like CyberArk, SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Ping, Entra ID.
• Understanding of directories, SaaS apps and cloud infra environments.
• Troubleshooting integrations involving APIs, authentication flows, or directory services.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and tools such as Postman.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and Sales Specialists to support customer engagements through the sales process.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical walkthroughs for prospective customers.
• Assist in workshops, evaluations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Explain identity concepts like authentication, access management, and governance to customers.
• Collaborate with customers on integration options with directories, SaaS apps, and enterprise infra.
• Troubleshoot technical questions during evaluations or demos.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and business audiences.
• Share knowledge with teammates to improve demos and strengthen the SE organization.
