Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support Identity Security initiatives across the Central U.S. region, focusing on Workforce Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA).

You will partner with sales and customers to improve authentication, access management, and governance in enterprise environments, working with both technical and business stakeholders. This role is remote, with collaboration across geographies.

Qualifications

• Experience with IAM/IGA or related security technologies.
• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, federation, directory services, and identity lifecycle management.
• Exposure to identity platforms such as CyberArk, SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Ping, or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Understanding of enterprise environments with directories, SaaS apps, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot integrations involving APIs, authentication flows, or directory services.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and tools such as Postman or similar.
• Comfortable with command-line tools and basic scripting for troubleshooting integrations or testing APIs.
• Exposure to major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and Sales Specialists to support customer engagements throughout the sales process.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical walkthroughs for prospective customers.
• Assist in technical workshops, evaluations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Help customers understand identity concepts such as authentication, access management, and identity governance.
• Work with customers to explore integration options with directories, SaaS applications, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot technical questions that arise during evaluations or demonstrations.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Collaborate with teammates to share knowledge, improve demos, and strengthen the broader SE organization.
