Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in the United States (remote) is seeking an Identity Consultant within Unit 42 to lead high-impact identity security assessments for enterprise clients. You will evaluate on-premises and cloud identity architectures such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Okta, surface critical misconfigurations, and deliver threat-informed remediation roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity consulting and IAM engineering.
• Hands-on with AD, Entra ID, ITDR, Ping, Okta, PAM architectures.
• Familiarity with identity posture and security audit tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Identity Assessments: end-to-end client engagements for identity assessments.
• Brief CISOs and IT leaders on identity vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Identify privilege escalation paths and weak controls across ID systems.
• Collaborate with Incident Response and Threat Intelligence teams to integrate TTPs.
• Support pre-sales scoping and refine service offerings with account teams.
• Produce executive-ready reports, risk matrices, and roadmaps.
