Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an Identity Consultant within Unit 42 to lead high-impact identity security assessments for enterprise clients. You will evaluate on-prem and cloud IAM architectures, expose misconfigurations, and deliver threat-informed remediation roadmaps with executive-level client facilitation.

The role requires deep identity expertise, collaboration with threat intelligence and sales teams, and the ability to produce actionable roadmaps tailored to client risk profiles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity consulting or IAM engineering.
• Hands-on with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, ITDR, PAM.
• Familiar with identity posture and security audit tools (BloodHound, PingCastle, Purple Knight, Idira, Cortex).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience translating identity risks for executives.
• Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, SC-300 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end identity assessments for enterprise clients.
• Brief CISOs and IT leaders on identity vulnerabilities and remediation steps.
• Review AD, Entra ID, SAML/OAuth, and PAM to identify privilege escalation paths.
• Collaborate with Incident Response and Threat Intelligence teams to integrate TTPs.
• Support pre-sales scoping and service refinement with account teams and architects.
• Produce executive-ready reports, risk matrices, and roadmaps.
