Job summary

BRMi is seeking a Junior IT Administrator to support IAM operations across enterprise systems including Microsoft Entra, AD, AD-LDS, and ADFS. The role handles routine IAM tasks, issues, and governance activities, working with application teams and security personnel to enforce least‑privilege and security standards.

Ideal candidates have foundational IT operations experience and a strong ability to troubleshoot, document findings, and escalate when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in IT field.
• 1–3 years IT operations, tech support, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and authentication fundamentals.
• Foundational IAM concepts: SSO, MFA, least‑privilege access.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra admin center and enterprise applications.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and escalation processes.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with service principals and Enterprise Applications in Entra preferred.
• Knowledge of API permissions, SAML/OIDC, and access controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer IAM systems: Entra, AD, AD-LDS, ADFS.
• Manage service principals in Entra per standards and approvals.
• Create and manage Entra Enterprise Applications and sign-on configurations.
• Review API permissions and enforce least‑privilege access.
• Coordinate secrets management for keys and certificates.
• Assess application alignment with IAM security standards.
• Evaluate authentication protocols: OIDC, SAML, Integrated Windows Authentication.
• Review user provisioning methods (SCIM, JIT, manual).
• Identify excessive permissions and document governance findings.
• Provide guidance on governance and integration decisions.
• Respond to IAM inquiries and support teams.
• Document requests, incidents, and resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering/security.
