Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a temporary AI Tutor for Icelandic to train Grok’s voice and language capabilities. The role focuses on translating into Icelandic, annotating audio, and refining localization guidelines.

It is a remote, 6‑month position with SpaceXSI, supporting the Icelandic language stack for a global product. The ideal candidate has CEFR C1 Icelandic and CEFR B2 English at minimum, with strong attention to pronunciation, cultural nuance, and audio quality.

Qualifications

• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Icelandic CEFR C1 or higher
• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: English CEFR B2 or higher
• PREFERRED: Native Icelandic proficiency and higher English level are beneficial

Responsibilities

• Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips using proprietary tools
• Translate and localize text from English into Icelandic with accuracy and cultural fit
• Produce clear, natural audio data capturing prosody, intonation, rhythm, and accents
• Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools for accents and multilingual audio
