Job summary

Concordance Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Programmer Analyst to participate in analysis, design, development, testing, and support of enterprise business applications. You will work closely with users, business analysts, management, and IS to define requirements, resolve issues, and deliver reliable technology solutions.

The role involves IBM i development with RPGLE, CLLE, embedded SQL, and Db2 for i, plus reporting, automation, and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Experience with VAI S2K or similar ERP/business applications.
• Healthcare distribution or supply chain knowledge a plus.
• Experience with modernization, automation, or reporting improvements.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools per policy and data protection guidelines.
• Proficiency in IBM i development concepts and embedded SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support IBM i applications using RPGLE, CLLE, embedded SQL, Db2 for i.
• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into specs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.
• Create technical and user documentation and support notes.
• Support reporting, analytics, and data extraction needs with SQL, Cognos, Sequel.
• Participate in modernization efforts and automation initiatives.
• Use approved AI-assisted tools to improve productivity while protecting data.
• Collaborate with users and IS team to prioritize work and deliver solutions.
• Share knowledge with team members; provide after-hours support when needed.
• Travel up to 5% as required.
