Job summary

Concordance Healthcare Solutions LLC is hiring a Programmer Analyst to analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support enterprise business applications. You will collaborate with users, analysts, and IS to define requirements, resolve issues, and improve operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes IBM i development with RPGLE, CLLE, embedded SQL, and Db2 for i, plus reporting with Cognos/SQL. Remote or any Concordance location is supported; travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
• experience with VAI S2K or similar ERP/business applications.
• Experience in healthcare distribution, supply chain, or related domains.
• Experience with modernization, automation, reporting, or process improvement.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools is a plus (used responsibly).
• Proficiency with RPGLE, CLLE, IBM i concepts, subfiles, service programs, and embedded SQL.
• Strong analytical and documentation capabilities.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support IBM i applications using RPGLE, CLLE, embedded SQL, Db2 for i.
• Analyze business processes and translate user requirements into specs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.
• Create technical and user documentation and procedures.
• Support reporting and data extraction with SQL, Cognos, Sequel or equivalents.
• Participate in modernization, automation, and integration efforts.
• Collaborate with users, IS team, and management to prioritize work and deliver solutions.
• Share best practices and provide after-hours support when needed.
