Job summary

Tempus AI, Inc. in Chicago seeks an IAM Engineer to design and deploy secure identity and access management across our real-world evidence platform, protecting patient data and regulatory compliance.

You will implement authentication and authorization, lead Okta/Okta Workflows deployments, and work with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC within a data-rich environment. Requires 3+ years in IT security, 2+ years IAM, Terraform and GitHub experience, plus strong communication and project management

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT security
• At least 2 years IAM engineering experience
• Extensive experience with OKTA and OKTA Workflows
• Knowledge of IAM principles, frameworks, and technologies

Responsibilities

• Practical experience with authentication and authorization protocols.
• Design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions across domains, including OKTA and OKTA Workflows.
• Strong skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating IAM-related risks and threats.
• Promote IAM awareness and integrate IAM best practices into operational processes across IT and business units.
