Job summary

Tempus is seeking an IAM Engineer to help ensure secure and private precision medicine methodologies for clients and patients. The role spans on-site duties at Chicago with potential involvement in other Tempus locations, contributing to secure access controls and robust IAM infrastructure across our cloud and in-house environments.

You will design and deploy IAM solutions, work with OKTA and related tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and improve authentication

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT Security.
• At least 2 years of IAM Engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with OKTA and OKTA Workflows.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Practical experience with authentication and authorization protocols.
• Design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions across domains including OKTA.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate IAM security risks and threats.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to promote IAM awareness and integrate IAM best practices into processes.
