Job summary

Blue Bridge People is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support an Identity & Access Management program. The role focuses on evaluating current IAM capabilities, identifying gaps, and recommending practical improvements to identity governance and modernization.

Remote work with occasional travel to Lexington, KY is possible. The ideal candidate will drive analysis independently, challenge assumptions, and partner with IAM engineering and operations teams to define future-state processes

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst on IAM projects or within an IAM program.
• Strong understanding of identity processes, provisioning, access management, and lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to evaluate process effectiveness, investigate root causes, and recommend improvements.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead conversations with business and technical stakeholders and challenge assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate identity processes and solutions to ensure they meet objectives.
• Analyze provisioning and lifecycle workflows to identify gaps and improve visibility.
• Document current-state processes including requests, creation, access, and lifecycle management.
• Assess identity data quality and readiness for role mining and RBAC initiatives.
• Investigate recurring issues, determine root causes, and reduce manual work and incidents.
• Facilitate discussions with technical teams and business users to clarify needs and options.
• Define future-state processes and use cases for identity governance and modernization.
• Identify automation opportunities for access controls, password management, and governance.
• Translate findings into prioritized recommendations and implementation plans.
• Maintain process maps and requirementsDocumentation across identity initiatives.
