Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Application Engineer - Data Center, Hyperscale Systems Design, a remote role within the United States. You will work with hyperscale accounts’ design teams to position Eaton solutions for data center distribution systems from medium voltage to rack level power.

Responsibilities include supporting design engineers, serving as a technical contact for sales teams, and leading global design efforts across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years electrical sales/marketing/application engineering experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No relocation benefit offered; geographic area limitation applies.

Responsibilities

• Support hyperscale design engineers and position Eaton products effectively.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for Eaton rep sales teams.
• Provide technical leadership for the Global Account Team.
• Collaborate with MTDC AE team to align future data center solutions.
• Lead global design efforts and localize designs per region.
• Facilitate collaboration between hyperscale and product lines.
• Represent hyperscale in roadmap discussions to guide grid-to-chip development.
