Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• College Coursework in Medical Terminology requested.
• Minimum 3 years in healthcare or three years of secretarial healthcare experience.
• Experience in a surgical ambulatory or acute care setting is preferred.
• CareCast/Flow Cast experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling between hospital/ASC and physician offices to ensure accuracy and timely scheduling.
• Schedule surgery visits as needed and document block release times.
• Arrange cases to maximize schedule effectiveness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
