Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a National Litigation and Claims Management Attorney in Seattle, Washington. This role involves independently managing a nationwide litigation caseload from inception through resolution and collaborating with clients, partners, and attorneys to develop case strategy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of litigation experience with strong discovery skills, familiarity with multi-jurisdictional matters, and a track record in client counseling and high-volume work

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in at least one state.
• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong discovery experience required.
• Experience with multi-jurisdictional litigation or national claims programs preferred.
• Background in transportation, logistics, trucking, or related regulatory frameworks preferred.
• Familiarity with emerging e-commerce or gig economy legal issues is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong client counseling and relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced technical proficiency with litigation and discovery tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a nationwide litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Conduct thorough investigations and proactively spot discovery issues unique to each case.
• Develop strategic discovery responses tailored to individual cases.
• Monitor and evaluate discovery processes for improvement and risk mitigation.
• Manage and improve a national claims program, identifying efficiencies and scalable solutions.
• Partner with attorneys, partners, and clients to develop case strategy and discovery plans.
• Collaborate across offices and practice groups for seamless service delivery.
• Adapt to shifting priorities, emerging legal issues, and evolving client needs.
