BCG Attorney Search in New York, NY seeks a National Litigation and Claims Management Attorney to lead nationwide litigation strategy and discovery for a major logistics client. The role combines high-stakes litigation oversight with national claims program management, allowing for flexible in-person, remote, or hybrid work arrangements.

The ideal candidate holds a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, is admitted to practice in at least one state, and brings 5+ years of litigation experience

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in at least one state
• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Strong discovery experience required
• Experience with multi-jurisdictional litigation or national claims programs preferred
• Background in transportation, logistics, or related regulatory frameworks preferred
• Familiarity with e-commerce or gig economy legal issues is a plus
• Proven ability to manage high-volume work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong client counseling and relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Advanced technical proficiency with litigation and discovery tools

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a nationwide litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Conduct thorough investigations and proactively address discovery issues.
• Develop strategic discovery responses aligned with national litigation strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate discovery processes for improvement and risk mitigation.
• Manage and enhance a national claims program for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with attorneys, partners, and clients on case strategy and discovery plans.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and emerging legal issues.
