Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex employment law matters in West Hollywood or Irvine, CA. The role offers onsite, hybrid, or remote arrangements for exceptional candidates.

You will draft, file and serve legal documents, coordinate depositions and hearings, manage discovery and case calendars, and communicate with clients and experts in a collaborative, fast-paced litigation team.

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate required.
• Employment litigation experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of employment litigation from intake through resolution.
• Prepare, file, and serve legal documents in state court, federal court, and arbitration proceedings.
• Draft discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, declarations, and related litigation documents.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, settlement conferences, and attorney client meetings.
• Maintain litigation calendars and track deadlines under California and federal procedural rules.
• Monitor court rules, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines.
• Organize pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and case files.
• Assist with hearing preparation, trial preparation, and settlement support.
• Communicate with clients, experts, court personnel, opposing counsel, and litigation vendors.
• Maintain accurate case records and support attorneys in managing active litigation matters.
• Schedule attorney meetings, court appearances, depositions, and client communications.
• Ensure timely filing, service, and tracking of litigation documents.
