Laurel Employment Law is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Paralegal to join a fully remote team that moves quickly and works with cutting-edge tools. You will support attorneys on active caseloads, draft motions and discovery, and keep files and communications organized in cloud systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in California employment litigation, can manage deadlines without chasing, and thrives in a remote, high-output environment with strong ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of California employment litigation experience.
• Ability to draft motions, mediation briefs, discovery, and related documents.
• Project-management mindset with deadline discipline.
• Highly self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate preferred.
• Prior remote-work experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys across active caseloads in a fully remote, fast-moving environment
• Draft and prepare motions, mediation briefs, discovery requests, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
• Manage deadlines, coordinate filings, and keep cases moving forward with precision
• Organize and maintain case files, records, and client communications in cloud-based systems
• Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
• Apply a project-manager mindset to juggle multiple cases without dropping the ball
