Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, coordinating depositions, reviewing medical records, and maintaining deadlines. A paralegal certificate is preferred; CA civil procedure knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of civil litigation paralegal experience preferred.
• Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience drafting discovery, subpoenas, deposition notices, and related documents.
• Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures and court filing requirements.
• Experience reviewing and organizing medical records and damages documentation.
• Experience coordinating depositions, mediations, experts, and trial prep.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and client-focused with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of personal injury litigation from intake to trial and resolution.
• Draft, file, serve pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and related documents.
• Review and summarize medical records, transcripts, and case evidence.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and expert appointments.
• Maintain litigation calendars and court deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with case development, discovery management, and litigation strategy.
• Coordinate expert files, disclosures, and document production.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and motion materials.
• Provide litigation support during hearings and trials.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
• Assist with settlement documents, lien resolution, and case closings.
