CyberCoders in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Employment Litigation Attorney to handle high-stakes employer-side disputes in a top national firm. You will own matters from inception through resolution, draft motions, take depositions, and advise on risk management while collaborating across 16 offices.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission required.
• 2+ years of employment litigation experience on the defense side.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions and taking depositions.
• Ability to independently manage an active caseload with deadlines.
• Excellent legal writing and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own employment litigation matters from inception through resolution in CA state and federal courts.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery; defend and take depositions.
• Represent employer clients at hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trial.
• Advise clients on employment law compliance and risk management strategies.
• Manage agency proceedings before EEOC, DLSE, CAL DIR, and other agencies.
• Collaborate with attorneys across 16 offices to develop litigation strategy; meet 1900 billable hrs.
