Job summary

Nearmap seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the company’s AR process, ensure timely billings and collections, maintain customer accounts, and deliver exceptional service across the customer base. The role supports high volume invoicing, cash posting, and daily AR activities within a flexible, hybrid work environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years of related experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce or NetSuite experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts receivable records and ensure aging, credits and collections are up to date.
• Ensure SLAs are met and provide guidelines for customer accounts.
• Monitor and collect outstanding receivables via email and phone.
• Process high volume invoices and verify billing details per customer requirements.
• Audit accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
• Perform daily cash management duties and post cash to AR subledger.
