Job summary
Budderfly is seeking a seasoned HVAC Remote Quality Assurance Agent to remotely commission, monitor, audit, and close out HVAC installations across North America. The role ensures quality installation, safety compliance, and consistent post-installation performance for QSR, casual dining, retail, and enterprise sites.
Candidates should have extensive HVAC field leadership experience, the ability to guide contractors remotely, and strong familiarity with TAB, EMS/BMS, and control strategies.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial HVAC experience in installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and QA.
- Experience with RTUs, make-up air, exhaust systems, packaged equipment, and control strategies.
- Ability to oversee third-party contractors and enforce safety, schedule, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead remote commissioning, QA, and closeout of the HVAC Replacement Program.
- Be the point of accountability for installation quality, safety compliance, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Provide real-time guidance and troubleshooting to installation contractors.
- Review TAB reports and commissioning documentation to develop contractor punch lists.
- Monitor completed installations remotely to verify performance and coordinate corrective actions.
- Travel up to 35% to support field audits and training.
